An Afro a day... Empty
PostSubject: An Afro a day...   An Afro a day... EmptySat Jul 03, 2010 2:17 pm

Kvothe sat in an open field, lying on his back and staring up into the sky, he had been doing so for several hours without doing anything besides sitting there thinking. Every now and then he would sit up and look around, and then would go back to lying down doing nothing. He sighed, he needed something to do soon or he would be really bored.

As Kvothe sat looking at the sky, he would notice a green figure appear flying through the air. This green figure obviously wasn't of human origin, but the head of hair which he had was entirely human... Big and round and afroey, the man was truly awesome. After a couple of seconds he flew down and landed next to the Human, poking him in the chest.

Kvothe was poked rather rudely in the chest, thus awakening him from his day-dream like state. He sat up abruptly and looked at the green man awkwardly for a few minutes, never breaking eye contact. Several seconds passed with Kvothe not breaking eye contact, or talking until finally he pointed up at the large puff of black hair on his head. "Nice 'fro." was all he said.

Kemi wasn't entirely sure why he had poked the human in the chest, but the reaction he expected to be hostile, he had even begun to charge a Ki blast to fire at his face... But then when his 'fro was complimented the Namekian could only smile at the man with a slight sense of proudness about him. "Isn't it? Now I bet it isn't every day you see a green guy... 'sup?"

The green dude seemed to grow happy at Kvothe's compliment towards his afro. Kvothe responded simply to the green man's question. "Nope, never seen a dude who was green before, specially not one with such a bad ass afro." Kvothe slowly raised his hand, and poked the afro, just to feel its awesomeness.

Kemi was becoming more and more happier at the man's statements about his afro; it had been a while since someone had made such awesome comments about his hair... Wait, people always made awesome comments about his hair. Who was he kidding? His hair was freaking awesome!

After patting it back into shape, he turned and looked into the field before them. "So, Human. How's your fighting skill?"

Kvothe smiled at the question, how good were his fighting skills? Top notch, simply put he was a beast in a fight. He cracked his knuckles, and then his neck. "I'm pretty good, haven't lost in a fight in about five years." He smiled smugly, "What about you?"

The Namekian smirked slightly as the human declared he was good at fighting; Kemi couldn't sense too much of a Power Level coming off of him, but then again appearances could be deceiving. Sliding his right foot back and readying his arms, the green guy moved into a position for fighting. "Shall we spar?" He asked, beckoning to the human with his outstretched right hand.

Kvothe didn't even wait for the man to finish his sentence before he ran up to the green guy and threw a series of punches towards his head and chest area, and even threw a head-butt in here and there just to spice things up a bit.

Kemi was expecting the attacks and rather easily and fluidly dodged all of the encroaching attacks; this guy was fast, but not as fast as him. Ducking under and moving forward, the Namekian attempted to move his way around the Human, before he aimed a quick kick in the centre of his back; though it wouldn't do too much damage, if it connected it would send the man sprawling forward.

kvothe felt the kick and got sent flying until he landed directly on his his stomach, the kick didn't hurt, but the fact that he got hit so easily worried him. He rolled onto his feet and stood up, brushing the dirt off of his shirt and pants as he did so. "Well...That was..." he didn't even finish his sentence, he just looked at the man for a second.

The Namekian waited for the man to get back to his feet and speak, but he seemed rather confused, and that was perfect. Kemi would train this man if he needed it, simply to get better; but for the moment he would wail on him a little. "It was nothing..." The Namekian finished off the man's sentence for him before firing a rather large blue coloured Ki Blast right at the man. He made it more bulky so it was easier to dodge than normal, but it would still pack a punch.

Kvothe's eyes widened as the blast left the green guys hand, and it was fired directly at him, he tucked and rolled to the right, narrowly dodging the blast. "What the hell was that!?!?" kvothe yelled as he stared, open mouthed, and wide-eyed at the green man with the pimpin fro.

Kemi smirked wider at the man's reaction to his initial Ki Blast; it was a natural reaction, a green guy firing his laser... A green guy with a 'fro. "That was a Ki Blast... Albeit slow." The Namekian stated emotionlessly. "This one won't miss..." And with those words he fired a lesser, yet quicker Ki Blast straight at the man's chest. He was going to make this man beg for him to train him... And then, he'd make a man out of him.

Kvothe felt the Ki blast, or so it was apparently called by the green man, when it hit him it felt like the kick, only stronger, and it sent Kvothe flying backwards skidding across the ground sending dust and dirt flying. He stood up and looked at the green man again "Jesus Christ! are you trying to kill me?!" He asked.

"Heh." Kemi couldn't help but smirk at the man's reaction; it was only natural, and so naive at the same time. The Namekian could have killed this man many times already, but he had opted not to. "Death is simply an option, kid." He sprinted forward at a quick speed and aimed another kick at the man's chest, this time aimed more to hurt him, than to simply prove a point.

The kick landed square on Kvothe's chest, sending him both flying backwards, and hurting him tremendously at the same time. He laid on the ground several feet away, cringing and holding his chest for a few minutes, before he finally stood up and looked at the one who just kicked him. There was no way in hell anybody could be this strong. "How? How are you this strong?" He asked the green man.

Kemi walked over to the man, and looked down upon him. He truly was pathetic at this moment, but with Kemi's training he could become much stronger; and the Namekian was ready to train him now. Holding his hand out for the man to take, "Training." Was his reply to the man's statement. "Let me train you and you can become stronger than me, human..."

"Stronger...stronger then you?" Kvothe reached up and took the mans hand. "When you say human...Does that mean that you aren't?" He asked, he had never seen anyone with green skin before, and he had never heard anyone call him human before either, and after that display of raw power, or at least, raw power over Kvothe.

After helping the man up, the Namekian stepped back and looked the man over. "I am not human, as you can most probably tell from my outward appearance. Though I hatched on this planet, the egg I was conceived in was made on a Planet known as Namek. That is home for me and my race..." He turned around and started walking to the centre of the field, so it would be easier to train the man.

"Oh right... And my brother is technically your God."

Kvothe stared blankly at the green ma- the Namekian as he told Kvothe about his brother. "God? Seriously? Your brother is god?" Kvothe quickly ran after the Namekian, it seemed he had a lot of questions, mostly about this training...And about the god comment....and what a Namekian was....and how he hatched from an egg, so much confusing information.

The Namekian continued walking, even as the man came up to him and the barrage of questions began. "As close to a God as there can be." He replied smoothly. "But all in good time, human. We should learn each other's names first, should we not? I am Kemi." He still didn't stop walking, but it would be best for introductions to get put out of the way... Things were going to start getting tough.

"My name is...Kvothe." He said as he followed, he didn't know how far he had been blasted by Kemi until he realized how long it was taking to reach the middle of the field. When they finally did reach it Kvothe starred at him for a few second before asking "So...What now?"

Kemi nodded as the boy, Kvothe, relayed his name unto him; it was better to have got the introductions out of the way, and they also had something to refer to each other as, to avoid any unnecessy confusion or sitatuions which may arise. Finally when they arrived in the centre of the field the boy asked what it was they were going to be doing. Kemi simply beckoned for the boy to sit down, before taking the Lotus Position himself. "I am going to teach you how to manipulate Ki... And then, I'll teach you to fly."

Kvothe raised an eyebrow when Kemi told him he was going to teach him to fly, but copied the way Kemi sat anyhow. He had seen Kemi fire energy right out of his hand only a few seconds ago, so Kvothe assumed that anything was possible. Even still, it was a bit strange, an alien, special powers, it was...Pretty awesome.
